Laska is the Bulgarian word for a gentle caress — a touch that carries tenderness and intention.
We chose this name because it describes exactly what we believe skincare should feel like.
Not a routine, nor a product category.
A moment of deliberate, unhurried care — for your skin, and for yourself.
WHAT IS LASKA ALL ABOUT?
Close the door. The world can wait.
In that private moment — you, the water, the steam — you are entirely yourself. Your body, your thoughts, your now. It is a privilege for Laska to be there. Everything we make is crafted in recognition of that intimacy.
We live at a speed that was never meant to be sustained. The days blur and somewhere between the deadlines and the noise, the scrolling and the rushing, something gets lost. Most of us don't notice until we're already running on empty.
And cleansing — the one daily act that could restore something — had been reduced to nothing.
Rushed. Functional. Forgettable.
We started Laska because we thought that was worth changing.
Laska exists to give that moment back by asking a different question: what if less was not just enough — but better? What if one cold-crafted bar of soap, one body butter, one unhurried pause in the bathroom was sufficient to restore what the day had drained? Sufficient to feel real texture. Smell something true. Return to your body after hours spent in your head.
What is good for your skin and what is good for your soul are usually exactly the same thing.
That conviction shapes how we make everything.
CONCENTRATED POTENCY
Most skincare routines have it backwards.
The more products layered onto skin, the more ingredients it must process, the harder it works to restore itself — becoming, over time, oversensitised, reactive, interrupted. Crowded out from doing what it was designed to do.
Laska is built on the opposite conviction: no complex regimens, product overload, nor ingredients that don't have a direct skin or hair benefit. Our formulas are anhydrous. Water dilutes. Without it, each product is more concentrated, richer, longer-lasting. Your skin receives the ingredient, not the delivery vehicle.Fewer, simpler, more potent formulations that are natural, uninterrupted by water and thickerners, concentrated in cosmetically active ingredients the skin recognizes and works with naturally.
Less, when it is the right less — concentrated, intentional, absolutely pure — is the most powerful thing you can give your skin. It restores autonomy, minimises the risk of irritation and allergy, and trusts the skin's own intelligence to do the rest. And skin, given the chance, is remarkably good at its job.

How you apply it makes the difference.
There is a version of skincare that is purely transactional — applied quickly, and immediately forgotten. And there is another: one where the act of application is itself the point. Where the texture in your hands, the scent enveloping you, the sensation moving across your skin become the moment you stop, feel and return to yourself.
Laska is the second version.
Every creation awakens the senses as deliberately as it nourishes the skin because what touches you on the outside should restore you on the inside. A texture that melts. A scent that stills. A sensation so purposefully, unhurriedly alive that it transforms the most ordinary moment of your day into one of genuine, restorative pleasure and reconnection.
This is what we mean by sensorial self-care: not a ritual performed on the surface, but one felt at depth. A daily act of presence that reconnects you to your body, senses and your own particular beauty.

THE INGREDIENTS &
OUR COLD PROCESS
We use our ingredients as the earth made them — distinct, fragrant, active at concentrations most commercial formulas never reach.
We don't override the raw materials. We compose them carefully, minimally, with nothing added that doesn't come with direct skin and hair benefits. No micas, silicones, artificial fragrances, colorants, preservatives, TEA/DEA, glycols, petroleum derivatives, PEGs or GMOs. The skin performs better without.
We cold-craft everything in small batches using our proprietary formulations, made in-house artisanally. No generics.
Heat destroys. Cold preserves. Most commercial cosmetics are processed at temperatures that degrade the very botanicals they claim to contain. We do things differently. Every ingredient enters the formula at its most potent and leaves it the same way: intact, alive, effective.
Ours is a conviction, not a production method.
Cold-crafting is an act of patience. The antithesis of mass production in every sense: slow, demanding, totally worth it. What reaches your skin is the real thing as it should be: optimally fresh and fragrant.
