Laska is the Bulgarian word for a gentle caress — a touch that carries both
tenderness and intention.
We chose this name because it describes exactly what we believe
skincare should feel like.
Not a routine. Not a product category.
A moment of deliberate, unhurried care — for your skin, and for yourself.
OUR MISSION
We started Laska because the daily ritual of cleansing had been reduced to nothing.
Rushed. Functional. Forgettable.
While the beauty industry was adding more steps, more products, more promises, we were asking a different question: what if less was not just enough — but better? What if one cold-crafted bar of soap, one body butter, one unhurried moment in the bathroom was sufficient to restore what the day had taken?
Sufficient to feel real texture. Smell something true. Return to your body after hours spent entirely in your head.
That is what Laska is for.
Not to complicate your life, but give one small, daily part of it back to you.
WHAT GOES IN
Some of our ingredients come from Bulgaria's valleys, farms and growing seasons: lavender, mint, pine, rose, herbs, yoghurt, milk, cold-pressed sunflower oil, calendula macerate. Others are sourced from growers and suppliers around the world — chosen by the same standard: quality of origin, integrity of form.
We use them as the earth made them — distinct, fragrant, active at concentrations most commercial formulas never reach.
We don't override the raw materials. We compose them — carefully, minimally, with nothing added that doesn't earn its place.
We don't use micas, silicones, sulfates, artificial fragrances, colorants, preservatives, TEA/DEA, glycols, petroleum derivatives, PEGs or GMOs. The skin doesn't need any of them. It performs better without.
THE WAY WE WORK
We cold-craft everything in small batches using our own proprietary formulations, made in-house. Never outsourced, nor generic.
Cold-crafting matters because heat destroys. Most commercial cosmetics are processed at temperatures that degrade the very botanicals they claim to contain. We don't do that. Every ingredient enters the formula at its most potent and leaves it the same way — intact, alive, effective.
Our formulas are water-free. Water dilutes. Without it, each product is more concentrated, richer, and longer-lasting. Your skin receives the ingredient, not the delivery vehicle.
